Run, Forrest! Run!

It really is amazing how time flies, isn't it? It seems like just yesterday when I was this timid, awkward kid in Form 1, afraid to break any rule and feeling out of place most of the time. To think that this year will be my last year in secondary school is kind of a relief and a sad thing both at the same time. So much have changed for me in both good and bad ways (mostly good, I hope) for the past 4 years and 3 months. I met great friends in school, became more confident, turned friendlier and learnt to not hate myself despite all my faults. Oh, I think I became bossier too. Haha. And no, I'm not saying that bossiness is good, okay.

Anyway, my school's Sports Day was held last Thursday in Stadium Sulaiman. The reasons I went was to support Priya and Dashy who were running and also because it was my very last chance to attend a Sports Day in secondary school (unless I end up in Form 6, which I prefer that it does NOT happen). My last Sports Day in RZ!

I had a pretty good time there (surprise surprise) screaming and cheering for Priya and Dashy alongside their other devoted fans while they ran. =) I had nasi lemak and ice cream float for breakfast, took tons of pictures and talk the rest of the time.

The day has to start off with...

The medals won by Dashy and Priya. Actually, they won three each. Priya had not gotten one of hers.
Dashy brought home 2 gold and 1 silver
Gold for 4x100m and 100m events
Silver for 200m
Priya won a gold and two silvers
Gold for 800m
Silver for 1500m and 4x400m
Congrats to the both of you! Join 3 events each and won a medal for every one of them. Not many people are capable of that. I'm proud of you girls! =)
Oooh...I think I'm going to miss secondary school life a lot.
