I thought I can start off this post by wishing everyone a Happy Good Friday, but it really is not that appropriate, is it? Til' now, I'm still not quite sure whether Good Friday is suppose to be a happy occasion or not. I mean, sure, Resurrection Sunday is a time when you go, "Yeah! Jesus is alive!" But what about the days prior to Sunday, Good Friday? We should be happy and grateful because if this whole crucifixion of Jesus Christ has had not happen, we may all go to hell. Well, that's what we Christians believe. But it really isn't right to be happy at the thought of someone being crucified because of you, is it? And if we try to stay neutral with our emotions, does that just come across as we don't really care about Jesus's sufferings?
Maybe we should be sad because of our own sinful nature but be grateful about being forgiven in the end.
