Farewell, Interact Club!

3 things that mark the end of my term in Interact Club:

1. Seniors' Farewell Gathering
25th June. Interactors gathered at Crystal Crown hotel to bid us form 5 ones goodbye. The gathering was planned by the incoming BOD and our teacher advisor Puan Susy, and they did a good job. Well, I had fun. =)

The seniors. Gosh, I am going to miss you all.
Yvonne
Samantha. Look, we are wearing the same type of dresses! =D
Farhany and Dashy
Sheetal
Syafiqah, Priya, me and Sammy
Yin Hui!
Laughing gas passing through...
Miss President's second last speech
RZ Rotarian Advisor, Rot. Raymond. He's a cool guy with a loud and distinctive laugh.
Puan Susy, without whom our club will never achieve so much.

Priya, Dashy, Hany and I volunteered to play the Siamese Twins Game.
Two in a group, we were supposed to use only one hand each to wrap the box.
Hany and I simply made sure that every inch of the box was covered with wrapping paper. Result: Not so pretty. Haha. We thought our work would be judged based on speed, not appearance.
Dashy and Priya were slower but darn their's were prettier. So neat!

Syafiqah and Fatin, I think.

Puan Susy even bought us seniors cake!

Just fooling around.

A gift presented to Puan Susy as appreciation.

2. Sales during Co-academic Carnival
27th June at school. It was a day of activities and competitions all related to academics, such as quizzes, sudoku and exhibitions. Various clubs opened up stalls to sell all sorts of stuff. Interact club sold chapati and shawls. And this was our last project for the term 2008/09.
Can you see the crowd at the distance?

Hany and Sheetal promoting the shawls we were selling.
From left: Elaine, Priya, Hany, Yin Hui, Dashy and Yvonne.
Very good business! Unfortunately, it's not our business to boast about. This is the stall next to us.
We Interactors sold chapati with chicken curry. I tried, it was delicious, okay.

The famous chicken curry. Soon to be anyway.
It's all about smiles to the customers.
In my opinion, Mun Yi was trying to act cute here. Haha.
Priya and Dashy, the two almost inseparable girls.
Chiew Teng and HanyThe atmosphere of a crowded market place.

Yin Hui the treasurer always talking money. Okay, she does not talk money all the time. I just need a caption.
Chiew Teng, Yvonne, Priya, me, Yin Hui and Dashy the black sheep (and by that I mean both literally and not)!
Clockwise: Hany, Parveen, Sheetal and Sarrinder
Some competition many of us joined because the booth was placed conveniently beside our stall.
3. Joint Installation and Award Ceremony
Also 27th June. At KEC. Our very last interschool event. This was the event to officially say goodbye to the old farts and welcome the new ones. This was when us seniors retire (sounds so old) and for those who did a good job (in other words, gained the attention of Rotarians) throughout the term, receive their awards and rewards.
First stop, performance by Bukit Kuda girls.
Traditional Indian drums
Singing by TKU
RZ!!! Juliana and Benazir sang 'The Graduation Song' by Vitamin C.
They sang so well. I was so proud I felt like a proud mom about to cry. LOL
See. This proves how good they were. People were standing up and waving their hands and singing along. Hehe.

Sorry, got distracted for awhile.
The ICC excos. Meaning, ICC's chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, treasurer and the presidents of every school's Interact Club of Klang. They are a bunch of dedicated people.
Lots of awards were presented. They all look about the same. So one picture should suffice.
The six Interactors who received the Award of Excellence. I think they all deserved it. So no hard feelings. LOL
